Description
During the move I obviously brought some objects to my house, among these two small oil paintings of the late 18th century early 19th which represent the Vicenza countryside and not knowing how to recognize the exact place, in the house we called them "the two Vicenza paintings".
In the chaos of the "door here, put in stock, put in there, put in the garage" the two squares are finished in my room, packed in a temporary red towels and stuffed in a shopping bag along with other things that were carried away by hand and with care because packed by dogs.
As soon as I got home, I freed them from the hairy embrace of the hideous towel and leaned them on a shelf of the wall.
When I went to sleep, in the evening, they were badly illuminated by the lamp but it was clear to me that they were too dark: a silky and greasy varnish patina had oxidized over time making the two a couple of what they had been. Polvere, sunlight, pollution of the air citizens, the fumes of alcohol and cigarettes to which they had witnessed since the glorious 70s in my house, had made them equal to certain couples who wield without having a precise cause, passing from exaltation to purchase to a life of indifference, since the life of my parents continued between accumulations and radishes and the two squares, although they were hanging
