Moving means changing place, but in this case it means moving objects and furniture from one place to another. But to move them it is necessary first to make space, and to make space you have to decide what to hold and what to throw. Then there are objects that have an intrinsic meaning, like the sofa in the photo, all in bois de roses, that is small pieces cut by the stems of the roses and patiently mounted on a structure that in this case was particularly complicated to realize since the client had asked that the spalliera was arched. After about two hundred years the sofa was covered with a yellow silk bought at high price in a factory in Venice, of which we no longer remember the name. With the sofa there are also two armchairs and despite what you can think of looking at them, accustomed as we are to huge and square shapes, they are particularly comfortable. Of course, not to stay the hours rigged in front of the TV, but to do conservation, smoke a cigarette in the living room, sit and think.
Ancient craftsmen knew the fact of them.
